Porsche Panamera revealed

Pictures and details of Porsche’s new venture into the four-door coupe marketplace have finally been released. The car is rumored to come with a standard V-6 engine, a 400-hp V-8, and a turbocharged V-8 with 500 hp.

The Panamera will utilize the 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission that first debuted in the 2009 911. Rear-wheel drive will be standard on the naturally-aspirated engines, with four-wheel drive being standard on the Panamera Turbo model and optional on its siblings.

 A hybrid is in the works; to be released later in the car’s life. A full release, including more juicy details, of the Panamera is expected in the spring of 2009. More pictures Porche Panamera
